About Us

Terion Anthony Howard Foundation

The Terion Anthony Howard Foundation is a non-profit organization established in honor of my nephew, who was born with Prune Belly Syndrome (PBS). Our mission is to provide financial assistance for his medical expenses. Our dedicated team of volunteers actively participates in various sports arenas, including the Guardians, Cavs, Browns, and Chargers, as well as at Blossom. Each of these venues contributes funds, and we reward our volunteers with donations for every game or event they work at throughout the year.
The foundation was founded in January 2015 with the vision of creating a fund that would support Terion throughout his lifetime. We are excited to announce our partnership with Fair Hill Partners for a 6-month collaboration starting in October 2023. Through this partnership, Terion will provide funding to feed more than 100 people, fulfilling one of the key criteria set by the Cleveland Food Bank. We have also teamed up with an established food bank partner, enabling us to operate independently. Additionally, we organized a back-to-school event where we distributed over 50 book bags filled with school supplies and registered families for Toys for Tots. Although we didn't capture images during the event, we plan to document our future initiatives visually.
Looking ahead, we aim to collaborate with the Cleveland Neighborhood Workforce Initiative to assist individuals in finding employment opportunities. Currently, our organization operates as a source of additional income rather than a conventional 9-to-5 job. However, our goal is to transition into providing regular wages instead of relying on staff and volunteer donations.
Starting in October 2023, Terion will volunteer at Toys for Tots, and we invite interested individuals to sign up with us to receive toys for their children. We are also in the process of applying for a grant that will enable us to purchase vans, reduce our rental expenses, and facilitate transportation for our staff to distant games and events where they volunteer.
Furthermore, we are actively searching for a suitable building to establish a food bank and provide the community with home-cooked meals once a month, courtesy of Mz. Dot's Restaurant, after obtaining our food bank credentials. We are committed to serving our community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.
